The Go Center assists students with the important task of getting into college; from registering for SAT, ACT, and Accuplacer tests to filling applications for scholarships.

“The Go Center is open to all students from 9th to 12th grade,” Go Center Coordinator Daniel Calderon said.

The Go Center also helps students with career choices, college applications and, scheduling and coordinating college representative visits.

“Just come and get help,” Go Center mentor Raymond Turner said. Students can visit the Go Center from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on school days. The center is often open during study skills and lunch, and helps 15 to 20 students a day who usually visit three times a week.

“They answer your questions right away,” senior Luisa Rosas said.

The center is located at C-203 and serves as a resource center for students, parents and the rest of the community regarding access to college, university, and technical school information.
