Z Nation adds new dynamic to zombie world

When people think of an enjoyable zombie show, most would immediately guess The Walking Dead. Making its debut Sept. 2014 Z Nation is a zombie show that really displays an accurate zombie disaster while adding a comedic twist.

The series airing on Syfy network is graphic but not meant to be taken seriously due to its comedy. Produced by the studio, The Asylum, the series is at times a bit cheesy, but has serious sequences while still maintaining its laugh-out-loud humor.

The main focus of the series is the transportation of Patient Z, a male named Murphy who is the only human that has the zombie vaccine in his body. Staying true to its zombie roots, there is plenty of flesh eating and zombie killing, as well as many funny and unexpected twists and turns like radioactive zombies found in one of the series’ episodes.

While Z Nation will never be as popular as its zombie counterpart, it holds true to its Syfy name and makes its viewers anxious and has them laughing at the characters silly antics. The series is currently in its second season, with a new episode every Friday night at 8 p.m. on the Syfy network.
