The El Paso Conquest the movie based on the school soccer team and its many achievements was shown to students May 16.

Head Soccer Coach Bruce Reichman was a big influence on the players along with the other coaches keeping the team on its toes and making them better every day, every game.

Although soccer has impressive achievements it often goes unnoticed, the team needs the student body’s support and this movie might just have gotten it for them. They work hard, play hard and they don’t stop and sit on their laurels.

Students traveled in buses and were paired by last name. The bus ride was one of the most enjoyable parts, even if it ended up being longer than expected. The students had a great time and the movie theater was filled with students concentrating on every word, and laughing at every joke.

The soccer team continues to improve and now the the movie sets a closer focus.
