Spider-Man Into the Spider Verse co-directed by Peter Ramsey, Robert Persichetti Jr., and Rodney Rothman delivers what no other animation has delivered before — comic-style. This animated movie makes for a fun family-friendly trip to the cinema.

Taking place in Brooklyn, NY, Miles Morales is an African American, Latino teenager withs a passion for science. Bitten by a radioactive spider he becomes the one and only Spider-Man. Taught by his mentor, Peter Parker (the first Spider-Man) , Morales trains to fight the evil villain kingpin.

With a cast including Shameik Moore, Jake Johnson and Nicolas Cage people can expect great voiceovers for each character. Each character comes from a different universe. Viewers can count on different personalities and many new characters.

Music lovers can also listen to the new feature song in this movie, “Sunflower” by Swae Lee and Post Malone. This incredible, catchy song is the jam that the main character,  Morales, hears and listens to in order relax from the stress of being a teenager.

Spider-Man Into the Spider Verse is one of the best animations of the year.
