Linus, the most sensible of the Peanuts characters, has an ongoing personal fantasy involving the Great Pumpkin, that includes trick-or-treating with his admirer Sally, who just wants to be around him.

It’s a Great Pumpkin is a lovable story with a sweet sense of humor. This is a story that keeps children and parents equally amused. This animation was a TV special first aired in 1966.

Writer Charles M. Schulz created this seasonal favorite. Most viewers revisit childhood memories with the instantly recognizable piano song that plays in every Charlie Brown show. This Charlie Brown special, is a tradition to watch yearly.  One soon realizes Lucy is in desperate need of therapy. She has a lot of anger especially for her age. In the scene when she is carving the pumpkin she and Linus chose, she stabs the pumpkin and it is a bit concerning for her age. Despite Lucy’s anger, this show is recognized as a favorite fall classic!
