Thirteen students were awarded $152,000 in scholarships to UTEP, Feb. 12. It was the first round of awards.

Senior Peter Miller-Valerio received the Elite scholarship for $32,000. Eight students including Deanne Alderette, Daniel Almeraz, Alexa Enciso, Joshua Hernandez, Eduardo Lopez, Roberto Portillo, Crystal Sepulveda and Enrique Vasquez received the President’s Award of $12,000 each.

Four students including Daniel Archuleta, Brandon Gomez, Erik Lopez and Georgina Luna each received the Academic Scholarship of $6,000 each.
