Jolly Christmas with the Grinch

The Grinch

Christmas is right around the corner, and it’s time to watch those favorite jolly Christmas movies. “The Grinch,” directed by Ron Howard  takes place in a small town called Whoville, where a green Grinch (Jim Carrey) decides to ruin the town’s Christmas.

This movie is a good way to show kids that no matter what happens during their lifetime miracles do happen. On many occasions people are treated differently because they are not what society wants them to be. They feel left out. The Grinch  is shown as a character bad but what villagers don’t know is that the Grinch is actually a good person and he has a good heart.

Both the original film from 1966 and the remake of the original film from 2000 show how people shouldn’t judge. The 2000 film is better because there is more emotion towards the characters and resembles real life in general. The 1966 film is shorter and leaves out certain details from the book.
