The end of the school year is nearing and for seniors, the end of their high school years. Many events like the Senior Sunrise, Farewell, Trip, and Project Celebration are hosted for seniors to make their last year fun and memorable.

“A person can go to high school once. Once it’s over, it’s over, so why not make it the best years of our lives,” Class of 2019 president Adonnis Garcia said. “That’s why the class and I make these events happen.”

Students Council helped the senior class with the events.

“We help organize these events by putting everything together with all the help of my officers,” Student council president Irma Escobar said. “It definitely applies plenty of pressure and stress, yet excitement to deliver these kind of events to the students.”

Since the events are thoroughly organized, the turnout is as expected with high attendance.

“I went to the senior sunrise with my friends and it was a lot of fun. We had breakfast provided to us and we just hung out and laughed a lot as we waited for the sunrise,” senior Andrea Pineda said. “I’m definitely looking forward to the future events for us seniors.”

Although it will be difficult for seniors to leave school and friends behind, they’ll still have memories to remind them of the good times.

“We all have to graduate eventually and move on with our lives,” senior Bryan Delgado said. “I will miss this place though.”
