Another season wraps up for varsity volleyball

As the season wrapped up for the volleyball team, the girls worked hard to end the season with a bang. For encouragement the teams look to each other to keep their stride going strong.
“I try to motivate the team because we have a good chance to go into playoffs. I think we might go this year,” senior hitter captain Savannah Gutierrez said.
For the newbies, the season was good enough to return with high hopes.
“This season was fun, I got a lot of good experience and I learned lot of good things from my coach. Next season, I want to see if I can make it to varsity and hopefully be a captain,” freshman defensive specialist Samantha Muniz said.
The varsity team stands 8-6 in district, 15-15 overall; Jv stands 2-12 in district, 7-19 overall; and the freshmen team stands 6-4 in district,12-10 overall.
