In the 22nd annual Greater El Paso Football Showcase All-Star Game, the school was represented by many seniors. Each football player is chosen by the coaches in the city. Selections are based on players stats throughout their varsity career. After players are selected and announced their practice schedule is extended.
“It felt good to play two extra weeks of football, not everybody can say they played for the All-Star team,” cornerback Edward Alvarez said. The all-star game is also a great opportunity for players to meet and interact with other players.
“It was a good experience to be able to play with people from other schools,” wide receiver Jacob Robles said.
Playing in the All-Star game is an experience like none other because all of the city is watching.
“It was an honor to play in front of all El Paso at my best at what I love,” defensive end Anthony Rubio said.
