Modern classic Christmas movies a must see for the holidays
How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2010): The perfect movie for little ones and not so little ones during the holidays. Inside a snow globe lies the land of Whoville where Christmas is the most important thing, up in the mountains lives, the Grinch, a creature that hates christmas and Whoville so much that he decides to isolate himself from everyone.That didn’t stop little Cindy Lou Who from befriending him and help save Christmas for all the Whos in Whoville and the Grinch himself.The movie is great to look at, with countless effects and colors. It also has a great message and is hilarious.
The Polar Express (2004): If a magical train headed to the North Pole is not awesome enough, try the great storyline, amazing animation and cheerful feel to it that make The Polar Express a must-have for families. This movie has everything a holiday movie should have and it is impossible to get tired of it.
Home Alone (1990): Only an 8-year-old could make being left behind by accident while his parents fly to France and his home is invaded by burglars fun. That is what Kevin does! This movie is a fun time and great for entertaining children while grown ups have fun with it as well.
Elf (2003): A man is raised as an elf in the North Pole, when he decides to go to the U.S. to find his real father he stumbles with loads of culture shock both funny and heart-wrenching at times. “Elf” Buddy just wants to spread cheer and it is hilarious to watch his child-like personality.
Love Actually (2003): This classic romantic movie is set in London and follows eight extremely different couples. This movie will have lots in tears and it is great for a cozy night this holiday season.
