Terrorist group Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) is responsible for  beheadings of two American journalists, James Foley, Steven Sotloff and British aid worker David Haines as well as strikes in Syria.
ISIS surfaced again with news of activity in Juarez, as reported by KVIA News August 30. Fear and conspiracies arise with the thought of terrorists entering the United States through El Paso.

Government action is being considered, such as the air strikes in Syria, to avoid the terrorist extremists from entering, stated by NBC news.
“I think ISIS is already here. With the level of organization that they have, I think they’ve already gotten their pieces in place for activity in the United States. As far as actions are concerned, I think it’s hard to find an enemy you can’t see,” Government teacher Carlos Valverde said.
As the extremists make more news headlines, the U.S. is taking steps to protect the country. U.S. airstrikes hit ISIS oil areas and destroyed tanks.
“I agree with the policy that has been taken against ISIS because I feel we should address this issue as a United Nation issue and not a Untied State issue. Plus in this instance, airstrikes are more effective, in my opinion,” JROTC Sergeant Melissa Brown-Dinkins said.
Terrorism is something that the U.S. has encountered before.
“Law enforcement should continue to do what is necessary to keep the public safe, but at the same time watch those areas where agents could be spread to the public,” Law Enforcement teacher Robert Comstock said.
