Being a principal is a hard job with huge responsibilities, It is a lot of different jobs but it is also a lot of fun and comes with plenty of rewards.
Every year a member of the community is invited to be Principal of the Day. President and CEO of Fred Loya Insurance, Fred Loya was invited and was on campus to serve March 20.
“It’s an honor, [there are] great programs and respect here. [It’s] been very welcoming and the hospitality is amazing,” Principal-for-a-Day Loya said.
He walked throughout the campus going from class to class, greeting students, seeing what Big Bad Blue is all about.
“It’s cool to have Mr. Loya here. He has had a big impact in the community and even my parents are insured by him, he seems like a very nice person,” senior Isabelle Calvio said.
Loya has 361 insurance agencies in California, Colorado, Illinios, New Mexico, Nevada and Texas. The headquarters are located in El Paso.
“[I am] grateful to have the opportunity to have such great people come to our school,” Principal Carmen Crosse said.
