Student Council hosts two breakfasts a year for club sponsors and officers. The Liters for Leaders breakfast awards each sponsor and club officer with a certificate, Bahama Bucks and Burger King coupons and a choice of a liter of soda.
“We hope to recognize those leaders who have volunteered their time throughout the year to help student activities and Del Valle High School to accomplish of their goals,” Student Council sponsor Cynthia Spitz said.
While the leaders enjoyed their breakfast, principal Carmen Crosse and student council President Marina Crosse talked about all the charities that clubs can help including the Reynolds House, Cell Phones For Soldiers and Pennies for Patients.
“Most importantly it creates an open line of communication between all the clubs on campus,” Speech and Debate coach and Aware sponsor Rich Jordan said.
