Advanced Art students fill the plaza with Valentine’s Day chalk grams.

This Valentine’s Day FBLA Blue, Choir, the Cheerleaders, and the FLC club hosted fundraisers.
FBLA Blue, sponsored by Guadalupe Ramirez, sold chocolate-covered strawberries, a box of six for $6 and a bouquet of six for $8.
“This is the first time FBLA Blue has a big fundraiser and we are very excited,” club president Alaide De Souza said.
Choir, sponsored by Lisa Serna, sold singing grams. A song to your crush was $3. The club sang throughout the Valentine’s Day week and has been doing this fundraiser for the past four years.
“The club hopes to raise enough money to fund our end-of-the-year banquet,” singer Lizeth Montellano said. The singing grams came with a rose and Hershey’s Kisses candy.
Cheerleaders, sponsored by Andrea Morse, sold crush grams. An anonymous gram was $1.50, the cost was $1 for an identified gram. The gift included a “Crush” soda.
FLC, sponsored by Ana Fields, sold Chalk Grams. Messages cost $3 and were drawn on the plaza floor.
