Valentine’s Day fundraisers
This Valentine’s Day FBLA Blue, Choir, the Cheerleaders, and the FLC club hosted fundraisers.
FBLA Blue, sponsored by Guadalupe Ramirez, sold chocolate-covered strawberries, a box of six for $6 and a bouquet of six for $8.
“This is the first time FBLA Blue has a big fundraiser and we are very excited,” club president Alaide De Souza said.
Choir, sponsored by Lisa Serna, sold singing grams. A song to your crush was $3. The club sang throughout the Valentine’s Day week and has been doing this fundraiser for the past four years.
“The club hopes to raise enough money to fund our end-of-the-year banquet,” singer Lizeth Montellano said. The singing grams came with a rose and Hershey’s Kisses candy.
Cheerleaders, sponsored by Andrea Morse, sold crush grams. An anonymous gram was $1.50, the cost was $1 for an identified gram. The gift included a “Crush” soda.
FLC, sponsored by Ana Fields, sold Chalk Grams. Messages cost $3 and were drawn on the plaza floor.
