Nick, Editor-in-Chief
From the Editor-in-Chief: It never really hit me until now, that my high school days are coming to an end. I remember when I first walked through the front doors of the school wondering what memories I would create, and now I can look back and smile at the journey I have completed. Irma, Diana, Ruben, Priscilla, Norma (Olivia), Nicole and Victoria, thank you for an amazing year. It’s a bummer knowing that I am leaving, but I know that you guys will be great and get better, and take UiL district again! Ms. Seltzer thank you so much for everything that you have done and taught me. I know that the skills that I have learned with help greatly. Even though I might not show affection in class I’m going to miss you guys a lot and just know that you guys will always be in my heart as my #1 journalism family.
At the beginning of the year Nick wrote that he wanted the paper to accomplish even more than it did last year. As captain of the debate team, Nick brought talent, charisma, leadership and intelligence.
The Expedition had a fine leader in Nick. You were thoughtful, friendly and always looking for a way to improve the paper and extend coverage. Thank you Nick for a great year. All the best to you from The Expedition, you will be missed!
