Injuries plague NFL season

The NFL season is in week nine but there’s already a boatload of injuries that have killed several teams’ mojo.

Week one of the NFL is supposed to be a calm week for teams as they begin the 16 week season, That’s not always the case just ask the Arizona Cardinals they lost their stud running back David Johnson who caught a 24 yard  reception from quarterback Carson Palmer. Moments after getting tackled Johnson appeared to be shaken up. He was evaluated on the sideline and later diagnosed with a severe wrist injury. Two days later it was announced that Johnson would be out two to three months. This injury devastated the Cardinals.

The New York Giants had big hopes of having a big season that heavily relies on superstar wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. Those hopes faded away in a hurry after trailing for most of the game against the Los Angeles Chargers the giants seemed to be gaining momentum until a short pass thrown by quarterback Eli Manning was caught by Beckham who was tackled immediately in a  Beckham remained down in a serious amount of pain. He had to be carted off the field to be examined in the X-ray room. Hours after the game ended the news was out that Beckham would need surgery for a fractured ankle and would miss the rest of the season.
