Jesus Vizcarra, Reporter

The Cars franchise is one of the best Disney movies ever. After six years, Pixar released a teaser trailer last November for Cars 3, in which Lightning McQueen (Owen Wilson) crashes, implying that McQueen is gone. The official trailer released Feb.26, shows McQueen training hard after his accident in order to get back to racing. That was a huge relief.

The Cars movies have awesome plots and sound effects. It’ll be exciting watching a whole new film of Cars. The movies have changed since the first one came out. Cars is a cute movie that all kids love. McQueen is the protagonist of this movie. In Cars 2, McQueen’s best friend, Mater (Daniel Lawrence Whitney), is more of a protagonist than McQueen. The movie isn’t just about racing, it also involves spying. Adults will enjoy this movie too, there is a lot of action.

The director of this awesome movie is Brian Fee. He’s new to the franchise, and it’ll be exciting to see if there will be any changes to a sequel. The producers are Pixar, and Walt Disney Pictures. It will be released June 16.
