Far from civilization, Captain James Conrad (Tom Hiddleston), Explorer Mason Weaver (Brie Larson) and Lieutenant Colonel Packard (Samuel L. Jackson) venture out into an uncharted island in the Pacific where they meet the mighty Kong. The movie gets very intense when you see a 950 ft. ape battling a squadron of helicopters.

The film was released March 10, directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts, produced by Warner Bros, Legendary Entertainment and Trecent Pictures. It was a hit right off the bat making $185 million its first week and rating 7 of 10 stars by IMDb users as of March.

Kong made his debut in 1933 and has evolved since then from a raging monster destroying cities to a hero who saves the world. The producing company that finished the latest edition of Kong, said that they are planning a remake of the King Kong vs. Godzilla set to be released in 2020. The fourth edition of Kong in 2005 won three Oscar awards and after watching the latest version, Kong: Skull Island, it is on the same track.
