Madison Young (Kate Siegel) is the protagonist in the horror movie Hush directed by Mike Flanagan. Madison is a writer who tries to escape from a serial killer.

The movie is different from other horror movies because the protagonist can’t hear and can’t speak. It makes the situation even scarier. It all takes place in a house in the middle of the woods, making it hard for Madison to escape from the serial killer.

Madison is trapped in her house, there is no place to go and there is no communication because the killer cut off the electricity. What is scary is that the audience knows the killer is waiting for her to come outside and he has turned it all into a deadly game — for Madison

What is really amazing about this movie, is that all the silence makes for some very scary drama. The movie was well done in that aspect.
