The Corpse Bride

Director Tim Burton has created more than nine movies all related to Halloween. The Corpse Bride is a film in which all the characters are dead, but still “live” underground with the rest of the dead.

The main character, who is very much alive, Victor Dort (Johnny Depp) “proposes” to a young dead bride, Victoria Everglot (Emily Watson). Victor is stuck between going back to the living, and living with the dead underground.

The most lovable character is Victor’s dead dog, Scraps because he is a well-trained dog that listens to whatever is asked of him. Many people watch this movie over and over because of the use of colors. Burton uses black, white and grey to really capture the feel of a scary Halloween movie.

This is a love story that involves the dead falling in love with the living all due to an “accidental proposal.” Burton produces awesome movies that keep his viewers wanting more. This film is a great Halloween flick. It’s not just for kids to watch but for anyone to enjoy.
