This fun-filled movie directed by Edgar Wright is about a middle aged guy named Shaun who leads a group of survivors to safety after their town in England is taken over by zombies. The group of survivors include Shaun’s mother Barbara (Penelope Wilton), his girlfriend Liz (Kate Ashfield)  and his best friend Ed (Nick Frost).

When dull, boring, loser Shaun makes it his duty to help the survivors get to safety he acts quickly by picking up his favorite weapon of choice, a cricket bat, and sets off on a scary but amusing adventure to the local pub. By killing zombies, running from them and blending in with them, the survivors make it to safety.

This movie is packed with comedy and is fun to watch. It is a romantic comedy set in the middle of some pretty gory zombie violence. This movie is a favorite and highly recommended to anyone looking for a good laugh and a good scare.
