This movie is based on villains. For once there isn’t a hero to come save the day. Who can’t see the government give criminals, known as the Suicide Squad, missions. Why suicide? If missions are not completed it leads to their death. Joker (Jared Leto), a known psychopath,  is among a long list of anti heroes including Harley Quinn (Margo Robbie), and Dead Shot (Will Smith).

As one of the most important figures in this movie this Joker has a long way to go to beat the anarchist Joker from The Dark Knight (Heath Ledger) because there was a point to all he did. He wasn’t committing a crime for fun or for pleasure, he did it to do to get the government’s attention. The Joker has a legacy to live up to due to the previous portrayals of the character. The Joker’s part in the movie remains a mystery and audiences will know Aug. 5.
