Krampus, a horror film based on a character from Alpine folklore takes  Christmas to a whole different level. Krampus is a monster who punishes misbehaving kids during Christmas.  The movie is directed by Michael Dougherty and  stars Adam Scott, Toni Collette, David Koechner, Allison Tolman, Conchata Ferrell, Emjay Anthony, Stefania LaVie Owen, and Krista Stadler.

The film revolves around a dysfunctional family that doesn’t get along even during a holiday such as Christmas. This family makes little kid Max (Emjay Anthony) stop believing in Christmas. He is disappointed, but doesn’t know his lack of spirit will attract Krampus.  The movie released Dec. 4, may get audiences in a holiday spirit, and is a great movie for horror movie lovers.
