Eleven students were awarded UTEP scholarships amounting to $188,000, Feb. 3, in the library. Alfonso Aguerrin and David Contreras both received the Presidential Leadership Scholarship award of $24,000. Brandon Delgado, Adam Evans, Leeza Gutierrez, Karen Palacios, Luis Rosales, Christopher Teruel, Ricardo Vega and, Martha Yoshida were awarded with the Presidential Excellence Scholarship award of $16,000. Christian Sanchez was awarded with the Presidential Scholarship award of $12,000.
