‘The Bridge,’ not a family show


The Bridge is a crime display starring Diane Kruger, Demian Bichir, Matthew Lillard, Emily Rios, Thomas M. Wright and Ted Levine.

This is an American show created by Meredith Stiehm and Elwood Reid, following two police detectives, Detective Marco Ruiz and Detective Sonya Cross. Ruiz is a homicide detective from the Mexican state of Chihuahua and Detective Cross a member of the El Paso Police Department.

The 13-episode first season started July 2013. The second season started last July and producers promised it would be more consistent and exciting than the first. It is 50 minutes of suspense and drama every Wednesday at 10 p.m.

It is a show about serial killers, criminals, drugs and sex. The show is rated M (Mature). Parents need to know that The Bridge is not a family show, and this show centers on a series of killings that can be shocking for viewers. It is an aggressive and frightening program that exposes people to the U.S./Mexico border and Mexican cartels.
