Pokemon Journeys, directed by Kunihiko Yuyama was released in the U.S. last June. Pokemon is now over 25 years old. It is based on the video game that has 869 different types of Pokemon, who are captured to battle against others.

The main characters are Ash, Ketchum and Goh. They go through eight regions: Kanto, Joto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, Alola, and Galar. Ash reunites with his old Pokemon and companions.

Goh has not really battled in this series. He has caught a lot of amazing Pokemon during the series. Goh caught the legendary Pokemon Suicune.

It is very nostalgic to see Ash meet characters from past seasons of the series.This show is different because Ash and Goh don’t just stay in one place and instead explore. Ash has improved his battling abilities. For example he learned how to use his moves to help himself. I think the fans are enjoying the return of old rivals like Gary, Kiawe, and Iris. That is why people are tuning in to watch Pokemon again.
