Hundreds of law enforcement vehicles followed the family of Sheriff’s Deputy Peter Herrera in the hour-long procession Friday, March 39.  Students lined up in front of the school to pay their respects to the former Conquistador. Herrera was shot at a traffic stop March 22, while on duty. He died March 24, from his injuries.
